A Message from the President

This is a period of counting blessings and dreaming dreams. I am grateful for many blessings PAWS has received in the names of animals. Thanks to you, our team, Pet Animal Welfare Society was able to decrease stray population with our animal welfare program (ABC) and protecting them against rabies. PAWS has

 undertaken many owner awareness program to help people know about the care, nutrition and management of their indoor and outdoor pets. PAWS has increased the number of animals rescued, sheltered and adopted this year. We responded to over 500 phone calls, helping people locate lost pets, adopt a pet, responded to concerns about animal abuse, behavior, training and health issues. We work cooperatively with other animal welfare organizations, local vets and humane society. PAWS is also for better environment and against the use of polythene and plastic bags. PAWS is also helping other environmentalists to grow more trees and make this universe pollution free.

To accommodate the needs of the animals in distress PAWS is planning to open a full fledged Pet Hospital and Boarding Shelter (PET PLANET) in the capital of India. Pet Planet will have all the latest and advanced facilities, to aid in the diagnosis of ailing animals, available world over. Pet Planet will serve animals and people and aggressively seek loving homes for homeless pets. The Pet Planet will offer some thing for everyone, school kids with animal oriented projects, potential adopters and the media. Pet Planet will promote animal sterilization to control stray population, vaccination and treatment, boarding and training of pets. Artificial insemination center to improve quality and breeds of animals.

Pet Animal Welfare Society is progressive and visionary, we know our goals are grand but we believe in the future needs of the animals will be well represented by these goals. We will grow with criticism and flower with appreciation. We know you share our dreams and we are grateful. Keep Smiling……!
